My sweet friend and Austin wedding photographer Shayln Nelson revealed her gorgeous office on her blog So Shay yesterday. The gold and white striped wall and fabulous gold chandelier make this office oh, so fancy! Not to mention the lovely prints and pops of pink through out, along with the chalkboard wall. What's not to like about this space!

I have a couple of design projects in the works right now and one of them in particular is a fabulous home office for a stylish working mom. I started gathering details for her space right away after our first phone meeting, to get my ideas and creativity flowing. This particular board was one out of three. After weeks of trying to decide what I want to do with my office space, I decided to put an inspiration board together. I'm going with a space that is functional, stylish yet open and light, it also needs to flow with the rest of my home. Of course with my hubby using the space from time to time as well, I'll have to tone down the girly.
I'm loving the pattern on the ottoman, it would be perfect for a couple of chairs that I need to have upholstered to go in the space. I also have the thought to bring in hints of pinks & greens along with lots of whites desk accessories..
