Live Inspired: Arts The Big Deal

Are you with me on the idea of unique pieces of artwork in your home to make a statement?

Every since my sweet artist friend Jessica Stone started putting her artwork on the map a couple of years ago, I have been in love with the idea of covering my entire home with unique pieces of artwork.  These inspiration rooms truly make a statement with white walls, pops of color and the art is definitely a big deal!

Living Inspired: On Point Kitchens

For the last couple of weeks the hubby and I have been looking at new homes, more then we normally do. We have been tossing up the idea of putting our house of the market. My dream home list has grown more and more each time we walk into a house.

A must have for me is an on point kitchen that is spacious and entertainment friendly with an island!! Although I don't cook it's a must for all the baking and parties I have in mind.  Plus a kitchen with lots of natural light flooding through. The hubby is in agreement, since he does most of the cooking!!;)

Living Inspired: Lively Laundry

After a weekend of sorting through laundry and trying to play catch up, I came to the conclusion that I need to finish painting and adding character to that space, especially since I spend a lot of time there. Bringing in some of those creative aspects in to that space, may just be the answer to my on going pile up. There is something about emerald green that has been catching my eye lately.  Only if I could pull it off in my own home, but instead I think I'll just add more emerald hues to my wardrobe and maybe add it to one of my Holiday table scapes for an upcoming workshop.

Every since my baby boy Zane turned two last month I have been having thoughts of a big boy room. In search for a few ideas and inspiration, I came across these rooms that are simply CUTE.  I am truly looking forward to repurposing an old bed or making a headboard for his space.

Lately, I have been on a home makeover kick, wanting to change wall colors, rearrange furniture, wall art and re upholster any and everything.  It's a never ending story in my home... That being said, my entry is one area of my home that I love, but after seeing these lovely spaces.....Um!  The fabulous lighting & over sized mirrors, add drama for sure...

Living Inspired: Winging It

A couple of months ago I stumbled upon a wing back chair at the thrift store, and when I tell you it was a steal of a deal. I paid a whopping $24.99 for it, and it's a Broyhill.For that price I couldn't pass it up.

So after that purchase I have been trying to find the perfect fabric for it's upholstery makeover. As I browse inspiration for wing back chairs, these spaces really caught my eye. 

 I'm loving the striped chairs in this space!

The color & pattern chairs in this space are 

simply GORGEOUS!

 button detail makes a huge statement!
