Live Inspired: Arts The Big Deal

Are you with me on the idea of unique pieces of artwork in your home to make a statement?

Every since my sweet artist friend Jessica Stone started putting her artwork on the map a couple of years ago, I have been in love with the idea of covering my entire home with unique pieces of artwork.  These inspiration rooms truly make a statement with white walls, pops of color and the art is definitely a big deal!

Client Project: Yellow & Grey Bedroom

I love when my clients allow my creativity to run wild. It makes me so proud of being able to do what I do and do it with a level of enthusiasm and joy that my clients can feed off of. These last couple of months we have been working with one of my sweet couples on their home expansion, we were also able to work with this couple for their wedding last year. They are wanting a yellow and grey color palette in their master suite. Last week as we did our walk thru we could visualize everything coming together through these design boards.

 

 

 

 

Room to Wedding Style: Purple All Over

Spring inspiration boards are in full effect in my office this month and this one comes in shades of purple! This inspiration is inspired by the inspiration room in Friday's post and I am loving it!  The soft purple hues with a hint of green from the inspiration room adds that unexepted touch of color. Now, I'm ready for my purple loving bride to contact us!!

Happy Friday + Room Love

Happy Friday lovelies!!  I hope your week was fabulous!!

Weeks like this one make me realize how precious time is. My week has been jammed packed with meetings, shopping, proposals and of course inspiration.  I feel like it went by so fast! 

 Do you ever look back at your busy days and wonder how you did it. Seriously, I find myself doing that all the time, especially being a wife and mom, along with everything else that goes along with. Some days I am like did I just get all that done and not pull my hair out.:)  Those are the days that I just give God the glory even more, because I know at that point it was not my doing alone.

I am looking forward to the weekend and a little spring break with my three favorite boys... Plus this space with all the lovely purple details, would make my weekend that much sweeter! ( Did you know I was obsessed with purple?)

Hello March + Snapshots

I can't believe it's March already!! As I took a look over my calendar this morning I realize March is even more jammed packed then I thought. So many wonderful things happening this month. 

My  first weekend of March was full of leopard & green, and roses blooming in the back yard. Oh, did I mention I love SPRING!!

Office Lighting: This or That

My home office is finally coming together! The hubby laid the wood flooring two weeks ago and they look great! (I'll share a pic once the transition piece is installed). I ordered a new rug and will be finishing up some other details in the space next week. One of the larger details that I hope to bring into the space is new lighting. Right now I have a ceiling fan, which I never use. So I am looking for the perfect lighting to set the overall mood of the office. Which one do you like?

Modern Home Tour Austin

 

The hubby and I had a date day on Saturday and explored Austin, touring 13 gorgeous homes for the Modern Home Tour. We were so exhausted afterwards, but it was so worth it. I could picture myself moving right into a few of the homes with no hesitation at all. Here's one of the homes that I really loved!

 

I fell in love with the kitchen in this home.. Along with purple accents throughout..

 



 

 

Target: Modern Cottage Collection

Lately Target has taken their home decor to another level of fabulous and I can't seem to resist. Every time I step foot in the store I am drooling over a new pillow or lamp. I must say I'm pretty obsessed. These items from the Modern Cottage Home Decor Collection are some of my faves.

Inspired By This: Gold Office

My sweet friend and Austin wedding photographer Shayln Nelson revealed her gorgeous office on her blog So Shay yesterday. The gold and white striped wall and fabulous gold chandelier make this office oh, so fancy! Not to mention the lovely prints and pops of pink through out, along with the chalkboard wall. What's not to like about this space!

Living Inspired: Soft & Neutral

I hope your Monday is off to a wonderful start and you are inspired as much as I am this morning!  

Lately, I have been really thinking about changing up my living room and adding a neutral wall and piling on the color through details. There is just something refreshing about these spaces that makes me want to sit with a cup of coffee and my laptop to work.

World Interiors: Holiday Tablescaping

When World Interiors asked me to do a Holiday Tablescaping workshop, I jumped on it!  Anytime I can get creative with tablescapes I get a little giddy.

The event started off with some Mimosa's and pasteries and ended with lots of holiday inspiration & shopping! Thanks C Thompson Photography for the photos and thanks to World Interiors for having us..

The "Be Bright" table was one of my favorites!! 

I loved all the details in the Traditional Table 

 

 

 

 

 Then we went for more of a cottage feel with a little Chevron pattern for our last table..

 

 

Living Inspired: Emerald With Envy

There is something about emerald green that has been catching my eye lately.  Only if I could pull it off in my own home, but instead I think I'll just add more emerald hues to my wardrobe and maybe add it to one of my Holiday table scapes for an upcoming workshop.
