Thanksgiving DIY: Fresh Herb & Flower/ Box Centerpiece
There is nothing like having fresh flowers and herbs in your Thanksgiving tablescape, but flowers can break the budget depending on what you are looking for.
For last weeks News segment we went with fresh herbs(rosemary & basil), garden flowers, and gourds for the Thanksgiving centerpiece. The good thing about this arrangement is you can use a basket from your pantry or even a shoe box covered in kraft paper and you can always replant afterwards. Such an easy way to have a stylish, but budget friendly centerpiece for your Thanksgiving gathering.

How to:
-Line box or basket with plastic or newspaper
-Place old books in the bottom to add height
-Place garden plants or flowers inside, placing them where you want them(we used mums, basil and rosemary from local grocer each under $4.00)
-Fill in with pumpkins, squash, or even apples to add color and texture

Wedding Wednesday: Buckets and Cans
This is one trend that we are loving; Buckets and Cans are being used in a lot of weddings latley to add that little touch of vintage or garden feel. Not to mention it is such a great way to bring a little creativity into your wedding day without being overly done...

Bring On The Jewel Tones
HAPPY MONDAY LOVELIES! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!
My weekend was a pretty productive one. I feel like over the last couple of months my home organizing to do list has been neglected so I had to get things rolling, I started doing a few things over the weekend. You ever get that feeling where you know you need to start working on things and the urge to get it done sets so heavy on you, you can hardly think. Well that's how feel...
Although today my thoughts are on gorgeous jewel tones; Seeing all the hues of purple, blue, magenta, teal, red and green lately are making me want to redesign my entire house and wardrobe with bold tones this fall.

Flower Arrangement
Over the weekend I put a sympathy arrangement together for a family that lost there baby girl in a drowning a week ago. It felt so good to do something from the heart..
Thanks to my book club for your donations, for something so special!! I chose cheerful colors like yellows & purples with accents of green.
