Happy Friday Lovelies!! I hope your week was full of productivity & JOY!!

I am so happy the weekend is here! This weekend will bring some hotter weather to the ATX and I can't help but think of sun dresses, big hats and bright colors. If my entire summer wardrobe was centered around this inspiration room, I would be one happy girl!

Happy Friday!! What a fabulous week it has been, I even experienced a day were I wanted to jump to the sky over the excitement  of all the things to come. New projects in the works and some wonderful people,  I am blessed to work with. I am looking forward to another weekend of crafting and spending time with my family and I think I might even throw in a margarita in celebration of Cinco de Mayo.

Soft Hues & Lace

I hope you all had a great weekend!!  Mine was pretty quite and wonderful, I had lots of down time with the fam, and some much needed reflecting. I even managed to get a  few hours of lifetime in,  along with little pinning.

For the past couple of weeks I have been gathering inspiration for a couple of upcoming shoots and I am really drawn to the soft muted tones and lace. So after the relaxing weekend, I am starting my week with these lovely images and dreaming of a beautiful week. I hope you are too!!

Live Inspired: Arts The Big Deal

Are you with me on the idea of unique pieces of artwork in your home to make a statement?

Every since my sweet artist friend Jessica Stone started putting her artwork on the map a couple of years ago, I have been in love with the idea of covering my entire home with unique pieces of artwork.  These inspiration rooms truly make a statement with white walls, pops of color and the art is definitely a big deal!

Color Inspired: Peach, Coral & Mint

This time of year with the flowers blooming and all the beautiful shades of pastels on all the shopping racks,  I tend to lean towards the corals, peaches and mint hues. These hues simply scream spring for me, and what better way to bring them to life then through an inspiration board for you all to get in that springy mood right along with me. I could easily dive right into this wedding inspiration and stay for awhile...

Room to Wedding Style: Purple All Over

Spring inspiration boards are in full effect in my office this month and this one comes in shades of purple! This inspiration is inspired by the inspiration room in Friday's post and I am loving it!  The soft purple hues with a hint of green from the inspiration room adds that unexepted touch of color. Now, I'm ready for my purple loving bride to contact us!!

Color Inspired: Yellow Mellow

Do you get the urge this time of year to bring out the yellow?  There is just something about yellow, that makes me think Spring, along with weddings, sunshiny days, spending time out doors, flowers blooming, ice cream cones and kites. 

Can you tell Elizabeth Messina inspires me on a daily, the photo of the bride with the yellow flower started this inspiration.

I don't know about you but the emerald trend has been one of my favorites, I ended up buying another emerald piece to add to my wardrobe over the weekend. It's just something with emerald that screams elegant!  I figured since it's been one of my faves lately, why not pair it with a little wine hue; simply makes for the perfect wedding combo!!

Color Inspired: Mint & Blush

This mint and blush wedding inspiration has me thinking of  warmer weather and anxious for Spring. 

When one of my July bride's mentioned the colors mint & blush for her wedding, the excitement took over. Blush paired with mint is one of those color combos that I could seriously work with at any time!  Here's just one little bit of inspiration we have in mind for this lovely Chic Ranch Celebration.

Color Inspired: Magenta + Gold

This inspiration was inspired by Elizabeth Messina's  fabulous image of the bride with the sparkler. Paired with magenta and gold and the inspiration is endless. I could truly go crazy with this color combo!  Magenta & Gold is such a lush color pallete and I am loving it!

Did I mention my mom is getting married in March!! We recently narrowed her wedding color pallete down; Navy, ivory and blush pink it is. I've stumbled upon some gorgeous inspiration recently.  She is wanting a very simple and elegant wedding. It's so nice to gather details for her.  I am so excited to stand next to her in March to witness a new beginning.

After a chat with one of my clients recently about color and classic wedding tones, the thought of gold and cream came to mind, this combination is so simple yet very romantic and classic. I think I would take these two paired any day..
